The concept of carry concealed

I feel that the carry conceal permit should be treated just like your drivers license accepted all across the country without prejudice or anything. There are more responsible people than not when it comes to carrying a firearm, its just that the bad are always shown because that's the antis fir power for their campaigns of gun control.

I feel that requiring a fee to be paid for government permission to bear a firearm violates the Second Amendment, regardless of what Scalia, any number of Supreme Court justices or our persistently annonying troll Shoobee thinks about it.

However it is not our opinions that matter, it is the 9 old men and women on the USSC whose do.

From your mouth to G-d's ear and by G-d, I do not mean the garbage in the whitehouse who thinks he is G-d.

We dont need a permit to say what we want, we dont need a permit to remain silent, and we dont need a permit to have a speedy trial, so why do we need a permit to bear arms?

The second amendment says that the right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. Requiring a permit to carry a firearm is infringement. Requiring the use of an FFL when receiving a firearm through the mail is infringement. Requiring a special tax to be paid because the barrel length of a rifle or shotgun is less than some arbitrarily decided length is infringement. Outlawing the possession of newly manufactured and requiring a special tax on old firearms with select fire/full auto capability is infringement. All, yes all, gun free zones are infringing on the right to keep and bear arms. Our government has trampled on the second amendment. We are taking steps in the right direction but we still have a very long way to go.

Scalia said everyone on the USSC believes that the states should be allowed to make whatever rules about OC and CCW that they want.

So these 9 judges disagree with you.

I guess the issue of states' rights is still a big deal on the USSC.

This is not an issue of states' rights, it is a right guaranteed by the federal constitution no matter which state you are in. Here is a good article:

Blog: The Second Amendment Is Not a 'States' Rights' Issue, Governor Perry
