My initial reaction to Panetta's announcement was that it would facilitate female promotions. Then I thought that, well, maybe we should give it a try. I didn't think that many women would "take advantage" of the "opportunitiy" to serve in a combat arms position and a few might qualify and do OK. tHowever I'd been away from ring-knocker politics for 25 years now and should have listened to my instincts.

Typically, Comrade obama has used the lame-duck Panetta to do his dirty work and that of the Officer Corp. Interesting article: Link Removed
