Have you heard of the Armed Citizens Project? They are offering free self-defense weapons to people living in a Houston neighborhood with high-crime rates. You can check them out here: Link Removed

Yes, they are going to prove that crime can be reduced by (1) limiting guns to single shot shot guns (thus no need for AR-15's) and (2) limiting gun possession only to people who can pass a background check and who have passed a safety and tactical course.

Sounds like a Brady stunt to me.

Sorry. I'm against this project.

A single shot 20 guage shotgun?
They will conduct a criminal background check..using what tool or database?
The shotgun will be locked? a single shot shotgun will have a lock? you are kidding, right?

So your going to give them Legal advice on what? the use of force or deadly force? ok well send them to a CHL class and give them a better option that a single shot shotgun that is locked up.

Tactical training? on a single shot weapon...there is nothing tactical about it.


This is just to make money on people that are afraid.

How convenient that Biden comes out a few days ago saying...do yourself a favor buy a shotgun...and this Armed Citizen project already has a page created with the youtube video to Biden saying buy a shotgun....

the Director of the project Kyle Coplen is a Rice graduate who runs tha aquatics department at Rice university and also top gun shooting range in Houston.

This project is not to prove a point at all.
