I find this unbelievable..... Not accurate... A lie..... Sure, the most kills may have come from those 3 firearms, but EVERY ONE OF THEM had a human being holding and firing them.... I have had one of those "1911A1" myself, and IT didnt kill or even injure ANYONE.... Now either mine was defective, or the premise behind the story is false.... (I know I am just nitpicking, but it is what I do...)

1911A1 has history since........1911. Good enough for me, got two. Can't beat a proven platform. If ya gotta throw lead, throw what's known to be reliable and effective.

All of mine must be defective too. In fact, the only firearms I have that are likely to have killed someone are rifles. If you own ex-military rifles then they have a good chance but there always was somebody behind that weapon pulling the trigger.

I would not bet on that. While the US military has dropped the 1911 as the standard issue weapon, it is not gone from services and the next war isn't going to be like WW I or II. Nowhere near the number of dead in the wars since WW II so the figures dropped in each one in those killed with pistols. Iraq and Afghanistan both combined are less than 1/10th of those killed in Vietnam so totals killed by military handguns have dropped on the US side. The next war will be fought more with guns like the M4 Carbine than a pistol.

You are right...handguns are being phased into a tertiary weapon...if not further...I think remote controlled systems will kill more people than small arms all together.
