I was never in the Military even though I wanted to enlist I didnt. But, I want to take this time to THANK all of you here for serving our Country. I commend you all .Wether you were in theatre or not. i'm 45 years old and I, still cry everytime I hear Taps played. I could'nt even begin to Imagine what some of you Veterans went through serving in wartime. all I can say is God Bless you all. I stand up and, Salute you. My hat Goes off to you all. My Family and I are here and, enjoying our life because of what all of you have done. especially our Brothers and, Sisters who made the Ultimate Sacrafice.. so in closing Thank You to all members of USACARRY who are VETRANS.

Respectfully,
Trophyhunter

Thanks, Bub.

I can't speak for the others here - I'm sure many of them are far more deserving of your gratitude than I am - but for myself, I never felt I did all that much. After all...I'm still here.

Absolutely. A big thinks to all of you guys and gals for your service in the past and for those now serving.

If you want to thank anyone, pray for those who gave their all and those still listed as M.I.A. These are the ones who truly deserve to be remembered.

+1 on all that was said, but I would also like to take the opportunity to thank the Spouses...
They are frequently left at home, in a city that is not their choosing, raising children and dealing with all kinds of things (including worry) while their spouse is out doing their service to our country..
I think they "serve" too...

As the wife of a Viet Nam veteran, I appreciate your kind words, Hootmon. Thank you! Back then there was no e-mail or cell phones. Sounds like the Stone Age, doesn't it?
