Kansas accepting ALL State Conceal Carry Permits...what a HUGE IMPACT this will have across the nation!!!

IF we could get all states to do the same we could finally remove the ridiculous headaches of needing multiple permits which I honestly think may be done on purpose...why would states like Utah, Arizona, Florida not want you to buy theirs to add more reciprocity than your local state?

We need UNITY in these times and acceptance nationwide of ANY PERMIT is TRUE CONSTITUTIONAL THINKING!

It may not be possible to make each state a Constitutional Carry State but to have every state accept any permit is the next best thing.

Now is the time to definitely get your permit and self defense shooting training...the weather is good and no more excuses.

Get your conceal carry certification and hook up with a local instructor for some self defense shooting (movement specific) training asap!!!

Kansas originally had (2006) wording reciprocating with states that had the "same" issue requirements. They later realized that almost nobody has IDENTICAL requirements and re-worded to accept those with "similar". That's why Nebraska (northern next door neighbor) didn't use to have reciprocity with us but does now (they changed their wording). I imaging many states have inadvertently fallen into the same trap and will hopefully correct it.

Oklahoma is passing the same thing to recognize all state's conceal licenses. Glad we live in the gun friendly heartland like Kansas!

I see that S.C. recognize Kansas, I'm planning on going to S.C. for vacation. So if I take this do I have to go to Kansas to put up my CCL or can I do it by mail?

Is this law in effect now? If so it looks like the Concealed Carry Permit Reciprocity Maps need to be updated to reflect this.

Sen. Brownback just signed it into law Fri; the A.G. website hasn't even had a chance to update it yet.

I am wondering if Kansas will honor the ND class2 permits now? until now they only accepted the class1, so technically they already recognize ND.
