Texas Homeowner Shoots and Kills Axe Wielding Intruder

A homeowner in Montgomery County, TX was forced to defend himself and his family last Friday night.
Following some sort of disturbance, the suspect drove his truck into the yard of the homeowner.
The suspect exited the vehicle carrying an axe and went to confront the homeowner.
The homeowner, fearing for his own safety as well as the safety of his wife and several children, all aged under 10 years old, got a gun and opened fire on the suspect.
The suspect was hit at least once in the chest. First responders transported the man to an area hospital, but he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
According to Link Removed, the incident happened in the 16200 block of Suzanne around 11:30 p.m.
No charges have been filed or are expected against the homeowner.
This is the Link Removed that we’ve documented.
For those who are interested in the good guys with a gun.

It's a good thing it happened in Texas. In several if our deep blue states the homeowner would have been charged with using excessive force. After all he used a gun when the poor criminal only had an axe.

There has got to be more to this story, it appears the incident began at another residence, and then this guy travels to the victims home w/ ax in hand and threatens him and his family.
I wonder what occurred causing this whack job to do what he did? Can't seem to find anymore info. , just curious.

You are right, but I thought our next President, Biden, said to get a double barrel shotgun and let go with two blasts, boom...boom! That will scare away the bad guy! You know anything this administration says or does will always work!

Do not go after someone with an axe, you are just asking for trouble. Didn't that guy know most Texans own guns?

For progressives it isn't the results or practicality that count. You only need to have the correct feelings. Even if you're killed while taking their stupid advice, it's really OK because your intentions were good.

I have news for you. You would have had the same result had that individual tried that stuff in this blue state and in this blue state home.
