Hk,
you should read about malcom. a very wise man who left us all way to soon.

Perhaps the teachings of chairman Mao should be next?

If I recall correctly Malcom's death was attributed to members of his own religion? They were members of the Nation of Islam the three who took his life..
"Less than a year after he left the Nation of Islam, Malcolm X was assassinated by three members of the group while giving a speech in New York." Yes, Peace loving individuals...

Because we have yet to truly secure the borders of the US, the threat is real.

So we just allow anyone who wishes to enter the country free access? Unchecked?

The drug trafficker's who bring drugs, weapons, disease, and violence to this country... They should be free to pass here and there unhindered?

The terrorists who plot destruction and death in the name of their cause... So we forgo asking for any credentials? No photograph or finger prints taken to allow us to search for any information regrading criminal history, wants or warrants issued in the US or abroad? So you feel that the crisis occurring on the borders now, is a made up hoax? A story so sensational it would bring the ire of most Americans to a boiling head simply to cause more malcontent for the administration in charge?

Let me ask this, If they came through the fence on your property and attempted to gain access to your home, would you object or welcome them?

It is that mindset that the terrorists and criminals are counting on and depending on for their plans to work. They must look upon us as if we were fools..

A simple word of French etymology comes to mind... Naive...

Peace...

Well Sheldon, I don't know where you pulled than number out if, nice dodge, but I think you are still getting bagged on this bluff.

According to currently available DHS TRIP statistics, ICE has a total of 1,504 cases compared to TSA's 37,897. Watch List border nabs (that's including Canada) pale in comparison to the tune of about .04%.

Yeah, that Mexican border is definitely a hotbed for terrorist activity, no doubt. NOT. Pure unadulterated FUD once again.

You better stick to cutting grass where your talents are best applied, Sheldon.

Look, I'm not saying we shouldn't be highly aggressive about stopping terrorists entering the country - wherever they may get in. That's pretty effin' obvious to anybody who cares.

But to use that as support for a rant about O's failure on the Mexican border is just not logical and in fact, pretty darn dumb. There are not and never have been alot of Mexican terrorists. Lately the drug gangs have been using these tactics against their their own police and military, but that's about as far as that subject goes.

Get real. How far you think a Taliban raghead is gonna get in the streets of Chihuaha?

six,
You are correct about who shot Malcom down like a dog.
I suggest you read further about Malcom X's assassination. IMO it was over his former boss's hobby of chasing skirts.
Some people think it was the Government, others the Mob.

Many believe that Malcolm X and other civil rights leaders were targets of these operations by Cointelpro. Fear may have been growing that Malcolm X was gaining the support of Martin Luther King to make the struggles of African-Americans an international issue by presenting a petition of human rights violations to the International Court of Justice conference at The Hague. In fact, Malcolm XS assassination took place just two weeks before that conference.

There are also those who believe that organized crime figures may have murdered Malcolm X because of his effective crusade against narcotics, alcohol and crime in Harlem. His successful efforts to clean up the streets were achieved by introducing members of the community to black pride, the doctrines of Islam and the creation of jobs through the establishment of independent black businesses supported by the NOI. However, the mafias involvement has been dismissed by investigators and most of those who were closest to Malcolm.

All fingers pointed to Muslims who were jealous of Malcolms growing success at recruiting many of Elijah Muhammads followers into the Muslim Mosque Incorporated (MMI). Many Muslims believed Malcolm X was rivaling their leader and trying to smear Elijah Muhammads reputation by publicly denouncing him as an adulterer. Muhammad had accepted Malcolm as a son and felt that Malcolm had betrayed him and the NOI by deviating from the true goals of the Islamic faith and peaceful teachings of the Koran.

There is much written about Malcom. Here is one.

FUD is what the extreme left wing socialist/Marxist call anything that does not comply with their beliefs. Anything they do not agree with. What they then post is CRUD= Communistic Regurgitated Utter Drivel.

I guess when you don't have any actual material or facts to support your position you gotta make it up. But then again, that "is" consistent with the overall FUD approach, isn't it?

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
CRUD or Crud may refer to:

Crud (game), played on a billiard table
Chalk river unidentified deposits, corroded products containing radioactive nuclear species
Create, read, update and delete, basic functions of a computer database
Neil Crud, Welsh rock musician, journalist and DJ, named so after 'Crud', the fanzine he published
Crud Puppy, a User Friendly character, born from crud of a keyboard
Crud, minced oath for crap

Now go look up FUD. You'll find it well referenced everywhere you look. :pleasantry:

OK, OK, I'll stipulate that the last post (gotta admit it was kinda funny:laugh:) was unnecessary..

If the terrorists wish to gain access to the US through the unsecured southern border, who do you think they would consult for advice? Money is the key. The drug smugglers know the best routes and I'm sure for a price would provide arms and guidance.

Yea, I know, it kinda has the conspiracy theory feel to it, but I see the potential... I'm sure others would as well. Agree or disagree? Lots of cold hard cash can make people do some awful things...

It's not just O's problem. The courts will fight it. The human rights advocates will fight it. In MA they boycotted AZ for proposing such laws. Our AG made a statement that in MA it's not illegal to be illegal. WTF?? I know some dyed in the wool liberals here who can't imagine closing off the borders to the poor illegals trying to get here.

The terrorists are watching us and studying us. They are looking for the weakness, our Achilles' heel, that will be our undoing. They managed to pull off 9/11/2001 with little detection or intervention. I'm sure some of them are looking at ways to exploit the unsecured border as we type. They allowed knives on airplanes prior to that Sept day... It took that moment to open our eyes... What level of destruction is needed next?

One thing I will not do, is underestimate the resolve of the radical Islamic terrorists who wish to get to us at any level... I carry a firearm for the what if factor You chose to do so as well. On some deep level you know that it could happen...

So calling the "concern" for it FUD, is akin to Ostrich Syndrome..

Peace...

...calling the "concern" for it FUD, is akin to Ostrich Syndrome...
I'm calling the concern for it on the Mexican border in support of an anti-Obama rant FUD.

The DHS statistics prove it. You have to put things in context. That is a common FUD tactic. State something out of context so it appears to support the message.

More investigation regarding the president's true feelings or support regarding the laws are needed to dispel the FUD...

The rest of the country feel the AZ laws are needed and feel the US Justice Dept. lawsuit is... I'm giving my opinion away here, Horsesh!t and a waste of money and time..

PRINCETON, NJ -- Americans' initial reactions to the U.S. Justice Department lawsuit against Arizona's new illegal immigration law are more negative than positive, by a 50% to 33% margin.

Americans Oppose Federal Suit Against Ariz. Immigration Law

So with more American's supporting the AZ laws they feel that the president's opposition to it is a betrayal... Not hard to figure out how to get voters angry...
And in no way, shape, or form do the liberal, socialist Democrat supporters attempt the same ploys... It's all FUD... Right?

It's supposed to be a government of the people, by the people, for the people. We the people have begun to feel like we have been forgotten and ignored in the decision making that has an effect on us at many levels. We feel as though we're no longer being listened to.

Not just by the president. it's rampant... I'm not condoning it, I'm explaining it...

Peace...

It appears you, 6shooter, and I are talking about 2 different things.

I decline to paticipate in the hijack by discussing anything not directly related to the topic of this thread.

It's FUD. I'll discuss Obama's immigration policies in another thread if you so desire. :pleasantry:

Have a 420 deer for here, 0 turn cub at the apartment building, and a 3200 Yamar at the farm, you need good equipment to keep up with the acerage.... :yu:

You and I apparently may be able to agree on one thing 1 terrorist is too many despite what broader the try and cross.

Canadian visitation rules are stricter than that of Mexico, and they do monitor suspected people and file reports with the DHS, which may be (and have been) ignored.....

Although there is more boarder to the north, more people cross illegally to the south, there are business oriented to just that end, hence higher numbers and liability, and defiantly a hotter spot politically. FOX news has done multiple news reports highlighting just that and the danger of our governments complacency to the south....
