Tennessee handgun requirements

Going tomorrow morning to Tennessee for a funeral. Have a current, valid Georgia handgun license, and know that Tennessee has reciprocity with Georgia. Is there a holster requirement in Tennessee? Taking my SIG P220 Equinox and wanted to make sure what the requirements were. Had a holster ripped off at a shooting gallery and did not have time to replace it. Please advise ASAP. Thanks for the help.

But the short answer is no, TN doesn't require a holster. Mexican carry is a popular form of birth control for us rednecks here :haha:

I agree and have NOT carried before without a holster and not time today (Sunday) to get one, leaving early in the morning for TN. Sorry about the Gator logo, but I have been watching the Gators since Steve Spurrier played at Florida and I earned three degrees at that school. Georgia Bulldog fans here still hate coach Steve Spurrier, and he is in South Carolina now (USC), still winning games. Gators not doing that well right now. Will be careful on carry. Thanks again.

Walmart sells holsters and should have something to fit your gun.
