I've always thought Ted Nugent was a little off the wall and an extremist of sorts but he makes sense a lot of the times. Feels weird agreeing with a nut case but I love to hear his passion on his thoughts of our 2nd Amendment Rights.

I take issue w/ this video because after saying "The Second amendment is my concealed carry permit period" Ted went out and got himself deputized as a "special constable " in WACO so he can carry everywhere under LEOSA

I like his comments. However, I dont agree with the notion that we need a permit to carry concealed.
I would also lay off the talk of killing and "blowing brains out". It affirms the notion that guns are violent, killing machines rather than simple means of self defense. I still like the guy, but talking about putting holes in people and blowing brains out is not going to support our cause.

That's my boss! I'm his bass player! I agree that I'd rather the innocent victims be alive and the repeat violent offenders be dead. Too often they will get out again due to our liberal "justice system" feeling sorry for them instead of punishing them..

Ted Nugent, an extremest? He doesn't seem any more extreme than most here to me. Because Ted is a celebrity we get to see and hear him on a regular basis. In the above video he says that he would prefer the criminal dies rather than the victim. Is that extreme? Not to me. Good guy lives bad guy dies, sounds like TV. He is not suggesting that we hang every criminal. He is suggesting that we stop discouraging adult people from defending themselves. Now that is radical. Oh wait, wasn't there a thread not too long ago that had members suggesting that we place loaded firearms in the hand of a ten year old? Don't get me wrong I hope the kid gets his gun I had one at that age. I am suggesting that Ted is not extreme just vocal.

Yes, he is quite animated. He is an entertainer, he knows how to put on a show. I for one am glad we have him as a spokesman. There are certainly too many in the entertainment industry that are on the wrong side of this issue.

I agree. I would never be so foolish as to point a lethal weapon at anyone or anything that I didn't intend to kill. I'm not Superman or Mr. Rogers, I carry a gun to protect my life.
