Tax Return Spent on my First Glock

Well went today and bought my first glock , I got a model 30 45 cal , I have carried a Sig p239 40 cal for well over 12 years, never had any interest in a glock , But i have to say it is extremely accurate out of the box and recoil is less than i expected
Then i ordered 3 Crossbreed super tucks One for the sig , one for the glock and one for my wife , she has a ruger LCR-XS
.

I cannot wait for the holster's to arrive
.

I guess i will retire the Sig to dedicated home security.

I traded a Taurus PT145 as a partial trade for a Glock 30 at a gun show a couple weeks ago. First experience with Glock and I was totally impressed with the minimal recoil compared to the PT 145 or my Colt 1991 Commander. I may be looking to trade the Colt for another Glock (maybe a 9mm or 40 cal for my wife) at the next gun show. Can't beat the feel, accuracy and quality that I've seen in my first Glock.

You'll like the 30.

I have been a Sig guy for years. Finally bought a Kimber and thought that would end it.

I have since bought a 26, 30sf, 21sf, and a 36. I have to say, and I NEVER thought I would go on record saying this, Glocks are pretty nice guns and I dislike them just the right amount to wear them when I work so I don't care whether they get holster wear or small dings on them.

Can't say that for my Sigs and my Kimber. I take special care of them.:):)

Good luck with the Glock.

Glock's are awesome and make for a great daily carry. I have a G27 that I have carried off and on for 6+ years.

I agree with all the Glock 30 compliments.
If you don't want to go inside the pants with it, try a Glock -made Sports-Combat holster. You'll barely know it's on your hip. Only costs about $15.

I have ( sig p6) but also a g21, very nice gun. As we are new to ccw here in wisconsin i'm looking at a owb rig for my fulls sized glock.

Congratulations. I spent part of my tax return on a Ruger SR9c, which is my first handgun for conceal carry and home defense. I considered a Glock, but we had other projects to spend the tax money on as well. I took it out to the range to shoot for the first time last weekend. What an awesome experience. Anyways, congrats on the Glock purchase.
