Taurus Millennium Experience?

If you have ever owned or shot one of the Taurus Millennium, Pt-111, PT-145 models, what is your experience. I have one of each (9mm & .45), and I love them. Compact enough to carry concealed with 10 rounds (the new California high capacity), yet hefty enough to be easy and fun to shoot unlike my Model 60 or some of the very small pistols. I know Taurus doesn't have the best reputation but all I can judge it by is my personal experience which has been very good. Please don't bother to post if you are just a Taurus hater who has never shot one of these, I'm really looking for personal experience.

I can't say on either of those but I do have and carry the PT-140 40 caliber. I love it. Have fired over 700 rounds through it and never a bad round yet. This is after trying many different brands and reloads and still fired every one. It was comfortable to carry and fit my hands real well, I have short fingers after freezing them when I was nine years old. I had not tried any of the earlier models so can't say if they were as good but the Millennium G2 is great in my book. I have one FFL I deal with who is selling them as fast as he gets them in. He even has a list of people waiting to purchase as soon as they arrive. He has 3 that he keeps for possible buyers to shoot to see if they like it before ordering and they keep trying to take off with them. LOL I hope you have good luck with yours as I have had with mine.

I have the PT111 G2 and this gun has been accurate and reliable right out of the box. I have close to a thousand rounds through it with zero failures. The only other Taurus I've ever owned was a 38 SS revolver and it has never missed a beat either. Lucky, considering Taurus reputation? I don't know. My LGS recommended this to me for it's reliability and round capacity (12+1). For those on the fence I would recommend a video on Youtube titled "Taurus Millennium G2 Torture Test". So far I really like this gun and it's close to becoming my everyday carry.

I have the PT-111 and real like the feel of the gun and it shots great, don't have as many rounds through it yet as the rest of you, but now that weather is warming I'll be hitting the range.

I bought a PT111 G2 a couple months ago. I have about 350 rounds through it with no problems. I have small hands and the grip fits me very well. So far so good.
