If anyone is using these type firearms I would like your pros and cons about them

Taurus PT145

I had a Taurus PT145/Milenium Edition (2nd and 3rd generation) for awhile.

Pros: Cost for what you get, power of the .45 rd, weight for conceiled carry.

Cons: I didn't like the "crazy eight" factory sights at all, took gettin used to
after 20 yrs as a grunt infantryman using standard dot sights

I had The PT145 Pro,I had a few problems with it.I may have got a bad one or something. I sent it back to Taurus and they fixed it no questions asked.( a little slow on the return ---about 7 weeks) The Key lock safety broke and fell out,and the recoil spring came apart when i took it apart to clean it. Just didn't trust it for CCW.
I think I will stick with my Glocks

All I can afford right now is my PT145. I have no problems with it, except that the only HP ammo it will feed reliably is Hornady TAP, not my favorite choice of SD ammo. It handles FMJs and lead RNs and FPs just fine, though.

I like the xd40, but I have only shot it in passing and never owned one.

Try to polish the feed ramp, this sometimes helps with that problem. A little Flitz and a dremel tool will do wonders.
