Tactipac Fusionpac

I received the holster earlier today. I have had it on for about 5 hours so far. Presently in gym shorts and a sweatshirt hanging out at home. This is as close to feeling like I am not carrying a gun as I have ever experienced. It is amazing how taking the weight of the gun off the pants and putting it on the body makes such a difference. Much more comfortable than a bellyband because the elastic really gives but not in a bad way with the fusionpac. It feels very stable yet I barely notice my guns weight. The foam padding is way more comfortable than leather or horsehide. It is also very plyable so it moves with the body yet is very secure. It feels smaller than it looks. Eventhough I usually wear a teeshirt under my holsters, I have been wearing this on my bare skin and it is amazingly comfortable. It would be nice to be able to adjust the cant but not a deal breaker at all. Overall, I am very impressed. My other holsters are going to miss me. Link Removed

Looks to me that you could change the cant if you wanted to being that it uses the Chicago screws. You would just have a few extra holes.

I wouldn;t mind that holster except for the fact I don't carry a Glock. I could I guess but I'm not gonna carry one of my Glocks just to use this holster. Me like's me 1911 compact.

Not trying to start a Glock fight, I own some, just don't carry a Glock.

If I remember correctly about 1-2 weeks but don't quote me. Sometimes I can't remember what I had for dinner last night. Have you been waiting long?

I placed the order 2 weeks ago. But I believe he had to get a new mold for my Sig P239. He told me that was what he was waiting for. I am looking forward to trying out the fusionpac.

I gotta tell you, the more I wear it the more I love this thing. He is also in the process of making a model that has adjustable cant and a smaller backing for more of a combat cut. Also magazine holders. Not quite there yet, but I am looking forward to seeing the updates. Funny as I get older what excites me.

The same exact thing has happen to me. I have looked at more guns and holsters in the last month than my entire life. I am interested in some of the training also. If I was a rich and had plenty of money to spare, I would spend a month out in Vegas with Frontsight. But for now I will have to set up my own course!

I hear you. I would also love to do Frontsight. I have done PPOTH, PPITH locally at the club I joined and have been studying articles and books on training. I also have the Glockstore trigger reset, dummunition and laser ammo as well as a number of dryfire manuels and DVD's. Will be training in my basement starting soon. Also recently purchased Kelly McCann's Inside the Crucible DVD set from Paladin Press. Excellent training material. Not interested in more guns though. I have only one, a Gen4 Glock G26. I want to train with what I carry and want to know this gun inside and out before and IF I ever get another. Don't want to be a jack of all trades and a master of none. That's just me.

I ordered one for my S&W M&P 40 Shield. It took 10 weeks! It wasn't worth the money or the wait in my opinion. The waistband and holster ride up and out of my pants whenever I have to bend over for anything. Tightening the waistband helps with that problem, but then it becomes quite uncomfortable. Another minor problem is that the velcro on the waistband will snag on any shirt that you wear under it. If you don't have an undershirt on, then the velcro will scratch your skin. I prefer to carry inside the waistband of my pants with no holster over this tactipac fusion. I don't have a smart carry, but I plan to try that next.

Here's an actual link that works:

You'll see that they do offer the fusionpacs in single and double magazines and they also offer them for a myriad of different firearms including the 1911 keycutter. They are $80 for holster, $100 for holster and one magazine holder, and $120 for holster and two magazine holders.

Hope this info is helpful.
