Tactical pens

I've been carrying an Smith & Wesson MP tactical pen for about 2 years now and I'm curious to see what others say about tactical pens in general. I love mine but I wanna hear other oppinions

I was thinking about getting a kubaton to carry when I can't carry a firearm.

Last week, one of my students, a young woman in her 20s, asked my opinion about a .25 caliber pocket pistol.

My response was, "It's better than a sharp stick."

The "tactical pen" IS that sharp stick.

I mean no disrespect...period.

However, I've never even heard of a "tactical pen". What do you do with it...write your congressman?

Does one carry the "tactical pen" concealed, or is open-carry the preferred method?

Again, I mean no disrespect. I just think it's a "novel" marketing ploy.
