Hello everyone I am fairly new to this forum but I enjoy it very much. Anyways I recently bought a rockriver ar15 and I am interested in buying a tactical light-laser but I don't wanna spend a fortune any input would be very much appreciated. Thank you all

Do you want something that works when you take it out of the safe every once in a while or are you going to war?

I have a couple of cool ones that have taken me through lots of rounds at the range. I don't think I would take them to war. Mainly cause I ain't going back to war. You could hardly call the Tonkin Gulf war anyway! Not with my job anyway.

Check out the Sportsman Guide. They have lots of cool stuff for little money there. That is of course, if your not going to war! :):)

Cheaper than Dirt.com

Cheaperthandirt.com is a great place to look for passive laser heads up scopes....I know some folks in law enforcement that use a knock off of the eotec called a cheotec. Google that scope. If you had to buy a new one every year you would have to buy several to get to the price of the eotec.....Brownells and Cabelas are always great resources for all gun/rifle stuff!

I've tried that fake Eotech and couldn't get the one I had to stay on target. The display always looked fuzzy but it did have green lights, something the real ones don't:):)

I guess if it's not that important to stay inside a large pie plate, the fake Eotech would be fine:):)

I have an eotech on my rifle and I love it I couldn't ask for anything better I looked at cabelas they are just a little high for what I need thanks for all the input I really appreciate it

No rails on my ARs so I'll stick with what fits on the carry handle. But you could try one of the BSA combos. The M-10 has a BSA TW30RDLL laser, red dot, flashlight combo on top and has stood up to it firing .45ACP.
