SW9VE vs. PT145

Let me preface this by saying I've always wanted a .45.

I have the opportunity to trade my SW9VE (100 rounds thru it) and 4 16 round mags for a brand new PT145 Mil Pro with 2 10 round mags. They guy wants $50 in difference and I may be able to talk him down a bit more.

Any thoughts or anybody with PT145 experience?

Well the Taurus haters will tell you no but I have shot both and I hate the SW9VE and love the Taurus. I have not had any trouble with mine except when it was new. I returned it to the factory and got it back in two weeks working perfectly. It is one of my favorite guns to shoot.

I'm a big .45 fan, but that's not a trade I'd make.

Think I'd sell the 9mm and buy a 1911.

Sell the sw9 and buy a decent .45. I would not make that trade. Especially with him wanting cash on top..
