I like Hornady Critical Duty 175 gr. Though the Critical Defense in the GOLD box is the top of the line...I can still get the Silver box at a fair price.

Winchester PDX1 180 gr JHP. Seems to be more accurate from 3 and 4 inch barrels than other brands.

For hunting: Winchester 180 gr FMJ with an X carved into the slug. Produces an exit wound much larger than any factory .45acp I've used.
