Police are looking for a man suspected of robbing a Scottsdale bank Tuesday afternoon about 90 minutes after he failed in his attempt to rob another one.

The man walked into the Bank of America branch at 6501 N. Scottsdale Road about 4:30 p.m. and passed a teller a note demanding money, police said Wednesday.

He obtained an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing. Bank employees told police they never saw a weapon on the man, who witnesses said may have fled in a gray sport utility vehicle, according to police.

Police believe the same man is responsible for an attempted robbery about 3 p.m. Tuesday at a Chase Bank branch at 6155 N. Scottsdale Road. In that case, the man also approached a teller and passed along a note, but fled without any money.

Nobody was hurt in either incident.

Security cameras at the Bank of America took pictures of the suspect, who is described as a white male, about 6 feet tall, wearing a dark baseball cap, sunglasses and long-sleeved denim shirt.

Is this America's most wanted?
Thanks for the public service anoucement RR.
The link says the stickup man didn't display a gun. I thought this was a gun chat room???

Ok, i will play along.
IMO, the badguy has a fake mustache.
Maybe he is looking for his stimulus money?

I never cared for Bank of America, but not enough to rob them.

He's just being a good Democrat or Republican!

He's got to get the 'seed money' to run for political office somewhere.

I understand this section is about Arizona, and its firearms news.
This does not seem to be that it's about Arizona ONLY about its firearms news.

Catching crooks is in everyone's best interest. I can only hope that the info here helps. If not, no harm is done.

Many of our elected officials are criminals.
