same boat here, but in kansas and know there is a 45 day minumum, 60 day average, 90 day cutoff. i think i have about 15 business days in now. i know around day 45 is going to be like christmas morning when i was 7 years old opening the mailbox. it's business days right?

patients is not a good thing around firearms because that would normally mean someone got their a55 shot and is a patient at a hospital or doctor patience however might be more appropriate.

In SC, we are a shall issure state and they supposedly have 90 days. Mine was printed exactly 91 days and then mailed, so I recieved it in 94/95 days. That seemed like years to me. Hang in there. Yours will get there. I didn't think MS took too long.

Minnesota has a 30 day cut off, after 30 days by law they have to give you the permit no matter what . It took me about a week to get mine.

Every time I purchase a new gun, I make myself wait at least a week before I shoot it. This does a few things. It lets me "discover" the firearm. I start to learn all of its nuances and intricacies. I so want to shoot it, GASP!!, I might even read the manual!!!! *sarcasm intended, but yes, it gives me a chance to read through the manual too*

Patience is a very good thing pertaining to firearms and things related. Your permit will come, you will carry, hopefully you will carry responsibly.

You'll like the M&P! I carry an M&P 40c and hardly know it's there. I also have a 9mm barrel and 357 Sig barrel for it. Pretty cheap way to have 3 guns in one,
