The headline is incorrect, however. The correct headline would be "Supreme Court Rules That Police Stalling To Wait For Drug-Sniffing Dogs Violates Constitution." That has absolutely nothing to do with what police can and can't do - or will or won't do. Only a decision on the legality of their actions. Of course there is always the excuse, "I smelled the odor of marijuana." and then the little tug on the leash or tap of the foot that makes the dog "alert" to provide "probable cause."

LE has no trouble violating virtually all other Supreme Court rulings... why would this one be any different? Cynical - absolutely!

This little ditty (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bOisna7yhMk) has nothing to do with the recent SCOTUS ruling but does have excellent points as to how difficult it will be to uproot the police state mentality among LE and their ultimate handlers (i.e. the Deep State).

I am guessing that NavyLCDR having his sheepdog Daisy in the car would set off the police dog.
