summer carry

I find myself carrying my LC9 even on my days off. I think the warmer weather is the major factor but I am seriously considering selling my Glock 22. I have a Glock 35 for the range so I will still have a full sized pistol that carries 15+1 of 40s&w. Anyone else thinking of retiring their larger pistols in favor of the smaller option?

I carry only snub nose revolvers for concealed carry. My large revolvers are my Ruger New Vaqueros .357 mag, 5 inch barrel. Don't reckon I'll be carrying these concealed. I am confident in my snubs to defend me and I am comfortable in my ability to use them. They are a lot easier to conceal in warmer weather. Heck, you could get a Smart Carry and wear anything.

yes i'd like to get a smaller carry piece as the gun i have had a big butt and hard to conceal esp in tropical south florida where heavy clothing sweaters hoodies etc are not something i wear often esp in the summer heat

I carry my ruger SR9c year round.I use a simple Own/own holster I picked up for 20 bucks.as long as I am not wearing a super tight tanktop it doesn't show or print at all .. love it!

wow you won a gun from here awesome! - i'm so hoping to win the giveaway package it would be perfect to get me geared up to conceal carry
right now i just have an old browning .380 and i borrowed a holster and belt to practice with but even with the iwb holster it's hard to hide that guns big butt
reason it's so big is the mag holds 13 rounds double stacked and it also has a fat rubber grip i bought it years ago for home protection never thinking about conceal carry in my life until a rash of crimes in our area and when the woman across the street was mugged in her own driveway is when i decided it would behoove me to get familiar with that old gun i had and look into conceal carry after a conversation i has with a lady cop

Yes, it is a great package. Luke did a fantastic job with this as well as running the site. I thanked him but can never thank him enough for this great site

I was carrying a XDM 9 compact all the time but then switched to a Sig P290 for the summer and will carry the xdm for the winter. As far as getting rid of the Glock 22, I would usually say keep it, but since you already have a Glock, there isn't to much of a reason to keep both if it will just sit around.

I do have an LC9 and a Sig P230 that I carry sometimes during the summer but will not give up my larger handguns.

living in south florida i think i'm going to need a smaller gun than that big butted browning i have
i'm so hoping to win that giveaway :yes4:

congrats to you on the win! I don't know Luke but admire him for his generosity and for creating this site for us all

I would like to win a Ccw package I'm a stay at home dad and don't even have cash to practice with my weapon , let alone get a better one .:(

Carry colt combat commander 45 year around, summer shorts, t-shirt with cover shirt, winter, just more clothing.

Took my big Glock out today. Worked really good with my Tommy Theis IWB so I guess I will keep the G22 and G35 for a while longer. LC9 is my easy to conceal gun but I guess I'm not ready to retire my bigger guns for EDC.
