Suffolk County Residents: Are You Aware of This?

This past Tuesday, January 8th, I went to the Suffolk County Pistol Licensing Bureau to obtain a purchase order. While there, I questioned the officer if this office was where I could apply for a CCW license. His response was, "A what?" Then his superior informed me that there was "no concealed carry in Suffolk County. You could apply for business or security officer carry". Hmm...what ever happened to "just cause, which, by the way, is subject to the whim of the Sheriff?

Only NYC and a few counties. Long Island, Westchester, Rickland are tough. Dutchess issues only an unrestricted CCW. If one chooses to live in Suffolk they have much bigger problems... PROPERTY TAX
