Anyone have one? What do you think of it?
I'm considering one, (assuming I can find one that's not gold plated)

I love mine. It's a .40 and uses the same mags as my Glock 22. A very accurate shooter. I have the quad rail on mine with an EOTECH attached.
Don't know what the current price is but I paid 325.00. 1 gallon jugs at 100 yards don't stand a chance.

Had a glock 19. Eats any 9mm brass you can give it. (Not meant for nickel or steel case). It's a cool gun and concept, but the quality is B- in my opinion. Kel Rex is currently redoing their tooling and they need to! Yes the gun was reliable and fun, but you can't find one at list price to save your life.

$330 sounds great but the availability is next to nothing. I called/emailed every website that solid them partially and all said 1 year or more wait list. I don't want to wait that long toget one and pay for it upfront. (Must take Ito consideration this was 7 mints ago, so with the current buying craze you will ever get one for under $600)

I got mine if gun broker and after shipping and FFL it was $500. Now you wouldn't even be able to do that. Bottom line yes I would buy another, but only for $400 or less and availability from the factory isn't changing in the new future. Best of luck

I don't own one but have shot a few of some friends who have one. It worked well under normal firing conditions, relaxed shooting in other words. I know they prefer brass cases over steel, my father has one and after some break-in he said it fired steel fine... more or less. It was accurate enough out to 75-100yrds, about the same as my AKs actually. It would make a neat BoB or vehicle gun, it's got kuddos for accepting Glock mags... if you have a Glock that is. Like said, good luck finding one now though! I'm sure they're gone! Kel-Tec had trouble keeping them on the shelves before the buying craze...

An aside, have you considered the SU-16...? I have one and love it, it serves as my BoB rifle... well, secondary BoB rifle. It shoots all the ammo I can give it, though it doesn't like you holding or resting the mag on anything, it'll jam. Other than that, it's a nice niche weapon.

I have considered that. Looked at them on the Kel-tec site. Either the A, or B. The only difference I noticed was the barrel length. Of course finding one, and the AR mags, and 5.56 ammo is another story. MSRP on the A was $665.00. Probably priced like ARs now; if you can find one. I have feelers out on both the SUB and the SA. Nothing so far.

I have the B model, it's barrel is shorter and thinner than the others. I think it may contribute to the accuracy issue, mine with the sights in the standard settings was shooting about 4-5 inches right at 60ish yards. However, moving the rear sight all the way to the left and all the way forward fixed that issue. It's combat accurate out to 100yrds... so acceptable for a gun of its type. Yeah, good luck on the either the Sub or SU... mags and ammo now.
