i have a couple of pistols that i carry, one at a time. depending on where i am going and what i am wearing. one has developed a sticky situation. my Ruger LCP sticks to the Bianchi pocket holster (which is a black synthetic material) that it sits in. the pistol spends its life in this holster, unless i am shooting it. these have been together about 5 years. when i try to remove the pistol from my pocket, i get the pistol and holster as an assembly. which if i NEED the pistol, isn't going to work very well. my initial thought was to "lube" the holster with talc (baby) powder. which did not correct the trouble. i can think of at least half a dozen other things to try. but some of them are not pocket friendly. so i thought before i make a mess out of it, i would ask what others use to alleviate this problem. my other pistols sit in Bianchi inside the waist band leather holsters, and do not have this problem.

Take the gun out and let the holster air, clean the gun let set out for three days. Should be fine.

Try the desantis nemesis pocket holster.

I've got one for my Ruger LC9s and even with a Crimson Trace laser guard sight attached to the trigger guard (which I'm sure the holster wasn't really designed to be used with a gun with an attachment), the holster stays in my pocket when I draw as long as I pull kinda downward and back to make sure the hooked end of the holster catches on the pocket. The inside of the holster is just a typical woven nylon material and the outside has a dimpled rubberized coating to help it stick to the inside of the pocket. It was fairly inexpensive too at 25 bucks.

I have the nemesis myself and it does sometimes want to come out with the LCP. Good idea I'm going to try the baby powder myself. I'm sure it will help some. The way mine works out though it wouldn't be the end of the world as the gun can still shoot fine if it came out in a real situation. With mine it seems that how it is oriented in the pocket makes a difference.
