Steven Seagal's Lawman Episode

Last night I was watching an Episode of Seagal's Lawman show. They had pulled over a group of men under the suspicion of drinking. One of the Gentlemen had an Concealed Weapon in his left Rear pocket that, he did not inform the officers about.

After the weapon was discovered, the gentlemen was cuffed, and the questioning began. After they ran his name through NCIC it was deemed that he was carrying the weapon legally.
What caught my attention was the comments made by Seagal.

He stated that Weapons on the street are a danger to society. At first, I thought that I Mis-Understood him, so I rewinded it, and listened to it again. Nope, I heard him Correctly! he believes that Citizens with weapons are a danger to Society.

This really surprised me, and took me back a little. I truly believed that Seagal was Pro 2nd Amendment. I had no idea that he disapproves of Citizens Carrying Weapons. of all the Actors out there today that make their living off using weapons, he was the last one, I ever thought would be against Armed Citizens.

If anyone on this site knows something different about Seagal, I would truly like to hear about it. I emailed the producers of the show including Seagal, and asked for clarification of his comment. If I get a response I will post it here. Thanks For reading !!

I'm waiting for their reply but I am not too confident about you receiving one.

on the same vein there was an episode of the miami airport show that had some foolish black cop go ghetto on a guy who had a gun in his car on the airport roadways which is not illegal in FLA, he started screaming and shucking and jiving about how nobody is allowed to have a gun on airport property, (wrong) and how he should take the guy to jail. he did all this foolishness on camera and the idiot producers allowed it to air despite how wrong and illegal the whole encounter was.

Seagal is nothing more than a media whore. Of course he is a liberal, he is an actor. Actors lie their way around the set. Speaking of lying, he also claims to have been a Navy SEAL. Not with that gut Mr. "Center of Gravity" Aikido. Aikido is ********. Just ask Master Ken.

I can not believe that producers would allow, or Air such lies. Not only do I Conceal Carry at my local Airport, with exceptions to secure Area. I also fly to, and from Florida with my Sidearm properly secured of course.

Of the 12, or so flights recently I never have had a problem. I do of course follow all of TSA's procedures. Secured in metal lock box, unloaded ,and also I purchased a Gorilla Cable that is permiantly secured to the metal supports of my luggage.

But I have never had a problem, one I inform the Airline that I'm transporting my Side Arm they have Me sign an Firearm Declaration Card and in front of the agent I unlock, and open my luggage. I place the FDC in my luggage, and I'm good to go.

I'm truly disappointed with Seagal, and Producers

That very well could be true tricolordad, but I have always been a fan of Seagal. I even met him once back in 1990 in Nashville, Tn I can tell you this he does not like taking pictures with people that are taller, or bigger then he is.

When I wanted to get my picture with him, he only agreed to have picture done if I, would sit down next to him standing. I declined to comply with that request, and ended up not getting picture with him.
Besides that, he did spend about an hour shooting the breeze with me. I truly thought he was a admirable Guy, until I watched that episode.

the show I referenced was NOT part of the segall show, this was the show about the operations of the Miami airport and the person involved was not in a terminal nor was he near a terminal, he was on a road within the airport property. and the producers did allow it to air or how would I know about it

That's a major warning sign that something aint right....

I've heard this several times that he doesn't want any co actors that are bigger then he is working on the set. Strange thing, he is a big guy at 6`4

Steven Seagal is a leftist hypocrite of the first order. I've met him too. He's good friends with a celebrity musician friend that I've known most of my life. I met Seagal back stage at a show my friend's band did in NOLA in '99. Seagal sat in for a song or two and is actually a fair guitarist. I didn't spend any time with him, and I also didn't know about his work in LE at the time, but I do know what he and my friend have in common; all that Zen stuff and Eastern philosophy that somehow weaves the warrior mindset with pacifism and claims that enlightenment results from that confusing and contradictory dichotomy. My friend has studied martial arts and philosophy both with Seagal and with a couple of his Eastern teachers. Somehow, my friend has managed to incorporate all that study into his life without it making him an insufferable hypocrite like it has with Seagal, but like the OP, I didn't realize just how hypocritical Seagal was until I watched an episode or three of that Lawman show a year or two ago. It may have even been a rerun of the same episode I saw where he said something similar as what the OP heard, or he may just be oblivious to how blatant his hypocrisy appears to Patriots and gun-owners, and repeats the same memes over and over again.

He's a legitimate master martial artist and instructor. He's heavily involved with the Anderson Silva training crew (Silva holds the UFC record for longest undefeated Champion up until just a couple of weeks ago, when he was defeated and dethroned by Chris Weidman).

Oh but that he would put as much loyalty and energy into supporting the Constitution as he does into a Brazilian cage-fighter!

Man,I had no idea, how mis informed I was about him.

Do I feel like a fool for supporting him all these years. I honestly looked up to him for the past 20 + years.

Now that I'm finding out all this information I need to rethink my means of judging someone's charater. Thanks for all the Info.

Id like to see him fight Sensei Stolsmark. If he doesn't move, he will die lmao. Aikido is good if your opponent is fat and can't move, otherwise you just gonna be standing there with your 300 pound self sucking things into your orbit.

Hey, I'll still watch his movies and laugh at his double doing all the mai geri's because his lard ass can't do em, but I will never take anything that comes out of his mouth as truth.

Steven Seagal is a wife beater. Just ask his ex-wife, the beautiful Kelly LeBrock from the movie "Weird Science."
.
Take your pick of news stories... https://www.google.com/#output=sear...99,d.dmg&fp=3108494f35b6442a&biw=1518&bih=666

Oh dude, deserteagle is gonna be all over you. Let me take some of the heat AND drop some truth on yall: Cops are expert wife beaters. Drew Petersen would have gotten away with murder if it wasn't for that meddling sister in law and those pesky cousins of hers.

He got choked out by a stuntman on set, too. The stuntman (Gene Lebell) is Rhonda Rousey's trainer.
I remember reading some stories a while back about him claiming to have trained with people in Japan who have never met the man.

The choking out part is true, the training thing is hearsay.
Apparently he's been named in quite a few sexual harassment suits too. Not that it means he did anything.

If you take it all together though.. where there's smoke there's usually fire.

Haha thanks for jogging my memory! What a dbag. I on the other hand, have trained with Neil Stolsmark, Sensei Nakazatos top student, for three hours at $25 an hour holla lmao

On the real though, even 10 minutes with that man improves you by a vast amount. And your karate too lol

I have no idea about his martial arts skills; but why would anyone anyone give credence to an opinion he holds about constitutional rights and law He grew up in the Peoples Republic of California. He has a long history of sexual harassment and abuse charges being filed and mysteriously dropped. He is an activist in organizations like PETA that to me qualifies him as nothing but a typical Hollywood nut case. His entire movie career is made up of movies that exhibit brutal violence. And on top of all of these wonderful qualities, his acting sucks.

WTF, I must of had my head in the clouds when it came to Seagal. I had no idea that he had so many claims against him. Very disappointed!!! Time to find another actor that I can support. Yeah right. I'm done with them all......
