Steps to take after a self defense shooting

For once. Definitely not as usual.

I didn't watch the video, Mas sometimes lets his law enforcement mentality get in the way of offering good advice.
as for what to do after a shooting
make sure you are safe from reprisals from the person that you had to shoot confederates. leave the scene if you are in danger of being attacked
call the cops
call your attorney
secure the scene as best as you can
secure witnesses as best you can
when the cops arrive articulate what caused the shooting to the responding officer, record if possible
be cooperative with the cops as much as you can be while keeping your mouth shut until your attorney arrives

Watch the video that is essentially the advice Mas gave

I found the information very valuable. I had leaned toward not saying anything to the cops except, "I''ll speak to you AFTER I speak to my counsel". I was already aware of the importance of being FIRST to call 911 but I didn't think about pointing out evidence and trying to keep witnesses around for the cops. Good things to do before I tell them they have to wait for my statement. But I will insist up[on not speaking further at that time.

I couldn't pull up the video, but from what I'm reading (assuming) in the video the guy said something about getting witnesses... well I know if there is a shooting and I'm around I'm getting the heck out of that situation. Is this for law enforcement or for civilians?... The video wasn't available, is there someone who could tell where to go to see it?
