SR40c

I have had mine Ruger SR40c for a few months now trained with it and had it attached to me any time I can legally have it. The longer I have it the more I love it in all ways. I went from a Glock 27 to this Ruger and have really enjoyed the change. The only down side is Glock has bookoo accessorizes that Ruger dose lack but that wont stop me yet. Has any one else tried or owned a SR hand gun?

I have 2 SRc...9mm and 40. Both are excellent handguns. When I open carry it is always the 40 cal Accuracy is very good. I am looking at the SR45 soon. For the price I don't know if you can get a more reliable pistol. Lots of SR people on this forum.

I carry a Ruger SR40c everyday, I have for the last two years. I think its a great Personal Protection Device. I did take out the mag safety so you can fire the round in the tube if the mag is out. The 40c shoots pretty good for a short barrel pistol and the recoil isn't bad. I do carry with the 10round mag and have the pinky clip on the end. With my big hands I can get a good grip and it conceals well with a OWB forward cant holster. For the money I think its a great pistol.

I have a SR9c that I pocket carry. I am very happy with it, it is easy to shoot well. It has a very good trigger and works with any ammo I care to use in it.:biggrin:

I have the SR9, as you may suspect. I have had it for 3-4 years. I have a ccw permit, and carry all day everyday. I have a Pro-Carry Deep Comfort IWB holster from the Holster Store. I did a lot of research before buying the gun and holster. I looked at ratings, fire power, comfort and balance, price and availability. Since both are made in America, I don't have a fear of parts inavailability by being cut off by import prices, excahange rates, and other import problems. I have recommended this combo repeatedly to friends. If I were going to buy another pistol, I will give Ruger first consideration. As far as acessories, they are available on Rugers website and after market both. you just have to look. My SR9 came with 2 17 round mags. I wanted 2 10 rounders as my state is trying to make a 10 round max law. I found the $40.00+ (factory list) mags, in factory packs, at Ivanhoe Wolesale Outlet in MA. for $27.95 each. So it pays to look.
