SR1911 night sights?

I'm wanting to get a set of night sights for my SR1911 and I'm not having much look in my searches. The only 2 brands I know of are the Trijicon HDs and Meprolight. I prefer Meprolights for economic reasons but I can't figure out which part number I need since they don't have any specifically for the SR1911. So does anybody know if I can just get the night sights for like a Kimber and they'll be compatible?

standard Novak Lo-Mount Cuts in the rear and a Standard Novak cut, .075 deep in the front.
The only dimension that the Ruger rear sight cut has wrong with it is that it is too shallow. This doesn't effect the sight fitment, the angles and dimensions are still correct, it just sits high on the slide. This is why the front sight is so high, to match the high rear.

Thanks for the info. Any particular brand better than another?

I like the meprolights for the price.
But I will say that like lasers and lights, night sights are kinda a gimmick.
If it's dark enough to see the sights, it's too dark to see a target. Plus they won't last forever, they will go dim.
For low light, fiber optic is better. Or my favorite is old school, gold bead on the front sight.
My current 1911 desert eagle, came with plain black sights, I painted the face of the front post with gold flake nail polish. Made a world of difference.

As for dark situations, I always not only carry my pistol, I carry a small hand held flashlight.

This is what I have on my Glock. I have done night shoots, low light shoots, and bright daylight shoots and can see these just fine in all scenarios. It's amazing how they pop in the daylight with the fiberoptic... but still shine brightly with the tritium.

They also have an option for "Kimber" so this might help. If you would still have questions there is this page:

I hope this helps.
