Springfield V10 Ultra compact Carry

Just secured a new tool in personal defense at the local Gun Show today. First S/Steel I've bought. Pretty and is lighter then my full size 1911 MIL-SPEC and shorter. Have busted off a few rounds just to make sure is operates properly. Will be going to the range tomorrow for a full round of tests. Probably about 200 rounds or so. Anyone own one that can share pros/cons?

Range report;
First and second mag loaded and discharged fine. ONLY problem is that during second mag noticed front DOT sight was no longer attached. Unfortunately could not find front sight on ground. On third mag insert and dropping slide release, round was forced above barrel and did not load. I had to either force slide forward to accommodate loading or drop mag, clear chamber and retry. NOT a happy camper with these issues. This weapon was going to replace my full size SPFLD 1911 as primary carry.
Have sent Msg to Springfield to hopefully resolve, repair, and reissue. We'll see. I like the feel and comfort of this platform but reliability is utmost in safety and security.
AMMO:
I shot over a hundred rounds of .45 ball ammo, 230gr., FMJ manufactured by MAGTECH which I bought at Gander Mountain.
