Springfield recall

I am one of the owners of the Springfield xds 45 that have been recalled. \Sent mine in over a month ago.
Does anyone have an idea as to how long before they will be returned. Mine didn't seem to have nothing wrong with it
but better to be safe than sorry. :help:

They received mine on 9/3 and I have not got it back yet. It is an extremely frustrating process.

Mine was received 09/03, got it back 10/30
with the 7 rd. Mag.

Got mine back 10/23.

There was something wrong with it, you could chamber a live round without the striker being reset meaning it could strike the primer from the force of the slide going into battery. If the striker didn't hit the primer hard enough to cause the gun to fire, you now had a gun that would not fire, until you racked the slide, and had the grip safety disengaged.

I've been getting weekly email updates every Friday from Springfield. I sent mine in early August. Did you give your email to them when you sent your gun in? Maybe you could call to make sure you start getting the emails from them. Last week I was told they have started making the repairs and are sending them back in first in/first out order. Since there are hundreds of thousands of guns, who knows when they will send yours back? I don't know how they could tell you either. They say they are working round the clock though.
