Here's a link to an article from Sunday's WSJ - carries a poignant meaning to me, indirectly relating to what we believe ourselves.

Mexico's Masked Vigilantes Defy Drug Gangs? And the Law - WSJ.com
Note - apparently it only let's you log into it once, and after that the boys at WSJ want you to start an account, so be advised.

Sort of an inspiring read, though hideously long.
One excerpt - "This was the turning point, the moment everything exploded here," says Bruno Placido, one of the leaders of the armed groups. "We had shown the power armed people have over organized-crime groups."

Or over a tyrannical government, huh my brothers?

If you told me this was possible in a country so overtaken with organized crime, I wouldn't have believed it.

That's another thing to consider besides a tyrannical government. Organized crime isn't going to fear a disarmed public. We could end up at some point with the same organized crime problems Mexico is dealing with.

BY organized crime, do you include the corporations that more and more constitute a law decreeing shadow government? Generally with no legal recourse because of "arbitration clauses" and infinite untracked contributions to politicians.

I took it to be a reference to the power big corporations can exercise over the government.

Either way, it sounds like we're gonna need more guns than we thought.
See you at the gun shop!
