*So Wrong On So Many Levels*

"The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath of affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized." I know that's somewhat radical, but the fourth amendment seems to me to say that there has to be a reason for any search, not just because.

Yes indeed, ninty year old grannies and little kids are the most likely sorts to fly airliners into tall buildings. On a student visa from an Iranian madrassa? Boarding ramp this way.

I have to give this dad credit for remaining calm for his child's sake. I couldn't even manage to keep myself calm while viewing the video! I'm relatively certain that I would have ended up in handcuffs had it been my son. Kudos to this dad! This truly sux!!!

Apparently because of the libtards it is now not right to offend the suspicious looking man, so we must violate a child to appear to be doing their jobs. Hey LIBTARD IDIOTS racial profiling works. This is not the first case were they have violated a child.

The people that must ultimately be blamed are the Koran-thumping maniacs who do (or want to) fly planes into buildings. Prior to 9/11 this would never have happened.

I think a quick check under the wheelchair (which was probably provided by the airline) would have been more appropriate. Unfortunately the TSA has to occasionally search a child, a granny, or somebody named O'Shannon or Larsen so that some group doesn't scream "PROFILING" and start launching frivolous lawsuits.

If I lose my key and I’m pretty sure that I lost them in the living room then why would I search the kitchen or bathroom first. I find it ironic that the ACLU says that we (meaning non-arabic looking people) must accept this burden so that no one is profiled. Why can’t those who look like terrorist accept it as their burden and show the world that their culture is not radical.

This was sooooooooo wrong in the first place. A kid, a wheel chair, a parent just going along to get along. **** these people, we are not the enemy, and the enemy is exempt due to racial profiling. I am sickend. Wake up America, fight now or lose it for ever. You people at TSA can kiss my royal Irish ass!

Exactly Right On!!! :)

Simple solutions for a simple problems. They need to boot them out and quit letting them come here. Then they won't have to worry about being profiled. Profiling works and people who think it's wrong need to get over it.

B2Tall:

It's not because I'm short that I strongly disagree with you. Support profiling!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I do suport profiling. It's not the Swedish Lutherans or Japanese Buddhists who've declared war on us. Law-abiding muslims need to get angry at the fascists who've hijacked their religion and culture, not at the rest of us who're simply trying to protect ourselves. If I was questioned by the police because they were looking for a large, white male with a shaved head I'd understand fully because I fit that description. I'd save my disdain for the perp who committed the crime in the first place.

Profiling

First of all, this is not racial profiling. Race does not enter into it; it's based on religion and culture. Primarily, the ones who wish to either merely destroy airplanes, crew, and passengers, or to use them to destroy structures, are members of a specific religion, and usually from a specific part of the world. Granted, there are a few who just want to make headlines and become famous, but most are sure in their own minds that they are at war with us. Profiling works. If you want to stop a certain sub-section of humanity (we have to concede that they are human, even though they don't act as such), you first eliminate all other sub-sections of humanity. You don't look at the coyotes if you're looking for a missing elephant. Profiling does work. Those who oppose profiling should be looked at closely; they might oppose it because they are one of the ones for whom you are searching. Only the liberal politicians and the infants in the main-stream media oppose it.
