So now it's Youtube....

Anybody on here tried watching videos over at Youtube recently? I was just over that way checking out some videos and all of a sudden an ad showed up and take a guess what it was. It seems a bunch of hollywood actors and performers have decided to come together and make a Youtube video urging us to "put an end to gun violence". While I'm all for the reduction of violence in our society I resent the implication that "gun" violence is the only type of violence we need to be concerned with. This is another method through which the media can push their own agenda and further poison the mind of Americans who are unclear on the issues. I promptly "disliked" the video.

It's sad that we allow actors, actresses, and performers influence our lives so much. In America today kids will more likely heed the advice and direction of some over paid, pompous Hollywood ******* than their own parents. Of course many parents don't even bother trying to raise their kids and just leave the media to raise them so they don't have to worry with it. I'm so sickened right now.

Are you talking about the "Demand A Plan" video? A bunch of Hollywood and entertainer jackasses who have no real idea of what they're actually trying to stop.

I recognized most of them but not all. How about we ID everyone in the ad and start a movement to boycott everything they are involved in? Start a Facebook page and Twitter account and get the word out.

i put ad block on so i don't get those annoying ads on you tube vids.......they use the media to sway folks opinions and will advertise every where and anywhere they can to manipulate the masses......i still need to find a way from keeping all the campaign rhetoric off my home phone geesh i was soooooooo glad when that election was over they shouldn't be allowed to cold call folks phones imo

Haven't been to, bought, or rented a movie in over a decade. Don't watch network TV either. Those pricks don't get one dime from me.

I'm not sure why anyone would want to hear Hollywood actors opinion on anything, they make a living saying words some else wrote.

If there were just 20 million people that would say, I will never watch any show or movie that has these actors in it.
They would be out of a job, Hollywood would take notice and say OH ****, and Jane Fonda might join the NRA.
The problem we as a group are lazy.

From the very industry that promotes violence in all forms. Really, right let's blame private law abiding citizens that own guns. It's their fault, certainly not the fault of Hollywood. What a bunch of hypocrites.

Why can't the NRA pay for an ad or two?

Is that a trick question? It's obviously because they haven't sold enough magazine subscriptions yet.

I DEMAND A PLAN!

A plan where gun free zones are eliminated. Where law abiding persons may carry their personal defensive firearm anywhere they go.

I demand a plan where law abiding persons may purchase any firearm they choose, with no hassles, no waiting, no government intrusion in what is a private retail transaction.

I demand a plan where those who commit violent crimes are put away for long, long terms without parole or early release.

But I'm not a Hollywierd celebrity, so who cares what I demand.

Try this one too. Alex can go off his bob for a bit in his videos, but not this one:

PART 2, he explains numbers and goes off his bob a bit...link is in the first video.

Demand a plan hypocrites... this one is a little better
