So many holster choices

I Googled best holster for CC and got too many opinionated responses.
I liked the idea of the Kangaroo shoulder harness as my frame is not what a Dr would want, but, it looks like it keeps the gun loose in the pouch and not secure as I would want. I also wear mostly polo shirts and getting my hand in and out the neckline without snagging shirt looks dangerous.
I also liked the vented stealthgear holsters, since I live in the south and am always hot and sweaty, but, not sure if there is a better choice.
My Beretta PX4 Storm compact is too big for pocket, so that only leaves me about 1000 options.

Any thoughts or experience with the Kangaroo, Stealth or other?

I like them in concept, I might try one out. Not sure i really like to cross draw . I use the 3Speed Holster though it is mainly for deep conceal (Inside crotch area) I wear mine as an appendix carry (1:30-2:00) above my beltlime, so as I get a really good full grip when I draw.

My only concern about the PX4 Storm, is that their safety/de-cocker seems to flair outward a bit too much. whatever holster you get it might show excessive wear by the safety.

I still favor the belly band. The one I use mostly is a Blue Stone Wolverine Belly Band, B343. Like you, I usually wear a polo shirt. This belly band has a pouch for the gun and 6 pockets for spare magazines. Comes in either right or left handed versions. Since I have only two spare magazines, I keep a small flashlight and a lighter in two of the pockets, with two left over for something else that I might want to carry. There's also a pocket for paperwork.

Can I ask what your height and weight are. I'm 6'1", and 220 lbs. The belly band after about 3 weeks of wearing it, started to stretch out on me. I had to cinch it tighter and tighter since it wanted to slide down on me. Finally it got to the point it was so stretched, velcro didn't meet velcro.

I'm convinced the belly band only works for really thin folks.

Thanks for the article Eidolon. Very good points. I have heard many times now that quality will cost, but is worth it. I am also hearing that not one size/style fits all.
I just don't really want to end up buying a dozen to find the right one. But knowing the good brands/manufacturers is a good start.
