Sig P938 Guide Rod Fail

Beware of this failure mode ShootingTheBull410 experienced with his Sig P938. I am honestly surprised that this design flaw still exists and hasn't been fixed over the years by Sig Sauer. It just goes to show that regular inspection and maintenance is important.

The Sig Sauer P938 is an excellent micro-pistol, but it does have an unusual quirk - the guide rod is actually made from two pieces, and if you don't keep an eye on it, it's possible the pieces could separate and the gun may actually eject its guide rod.
