Haven't been able to get my hands on a SIG P938 yet. Anyone have one yet? Wanting some feedback before I make a purchase. Thanks

I've been waiting for one. Rumor has it they are due to ship in June though no one seems to be able to confirm that. I'm first in line on the waiting list at a local gun shop.

Just got a call from my local Gun shop, they just received there 1st Sig P938. I held it and dry fired it. Sig did a nice job on this one. I read several shot show articles saying same width, it really is a little wider, but not by much. Less than the LC9, barrel is a touch longer and weight is a little heavier, my guess is a couple oz, I know the specs say different, but in my pocket, I can tell it is closer to 17 maybe 18oz with clip. On the model they got in, the "Nightmere" all black, the trigger was heavier than the P238. I had the shop owner try it and he agreed, it didnt feel right, my guess is close to a 9lb pull to fire it. The serial number was 25, and produced on April 10th, so production just started. You should see them showing up soon. Not sure if just this model for now, or all of them. I want a SAS version and I am 1st on the list.
Just check the trigger and please let me know if anyone else feels the same, or if its just this pistol??

all in all, a big hit! Now we just need holsters, Pocket preferable for me!!

I have one. I put 225 rounds through it so far. 3 failures to return to battery but I only oiled it a little bit. The trigger gets softer with lubrication and breaking it in. Size is about the same as a P238 but a tad longer. Mine was 15.6 oz and my P238 is 12.9 oz, no mags or ammo.

I enjoy it. Only negatives is that there aren't any magazines up for sale and the slide lock pin is too darn short.

Well, my local dealer called me last week the day they got one in. I looked at it and it fits my hand good. Only promote was they were too proud of it and wouldn't budge off $799! I've been reading on line most people are picking them up for around $625-$675. I guess I'll wait a little longer. I really want the two tone equinox model anyway and I've only seen the nightmare out so far.

There are a number of price levels, depending on frame material, finish and features (night sights, grip style, etc).

Make sure you're comparing apples to apples price-wise.

The Sig P938 is quite the nice single stack 7+1 shooter delivered with night sights, a hard case and no-grip 6-rnd mag. Mild short-snap recoil from a not-too-light trigger pull, solid ambi safety, external slide lock release, decent reacquisition, excellent textured grip with or without extended magazine, accurate, reliable and a traditional 1911-ie look. If you like SA and don't mind locked/cocked it is superb. Feels and shoots like Sig quality and, sadly, priced like Sig quality. 20-oz. loaded, maybe.

What CD_Glock said - the release pin is irritating.
A new magazine was hard to load - mine softened up after 100-200 rounds.
It'll pass in pocket carry with loose pants but it is what it is; I prefer it cocked/locked IWB, anyhow.

I like everything about the pistol. It is retiring a .380 Walther PPK/S and a .380 Beretta; Smith 642 stays on as the #1 pocket gun.

I now have the Extreme P938, only about 100 rounds but no FTF or any issues. All is good.
$729 with night sights and extra extended mag. Also the extreme has the G10 Grips, very nice for grip.
Great shooter so far.

Have a Bullard Pocket holster on order, he is working on the pattern now, so I hope to have it in a week or 2, But if you dont mind the safety not covered, Bear Creek has one already and it looks very nice. Just not sure I like the safety open to be tripped??
