Sig P2022

Looking for opinions on the Sig p2022, thanks for any info you can give!

I've read nothing but good things for relatively inexpensive gun for a Sig. I've got one heading my way and its going to get mated to the Sig ACP. :)

It was one of the guns I was thinking of getting. Looked very reliable and the price was good. Main reason I went with the Sr40c is that it was a little smaller and accessories were a little cheaper.

I have one in 40 s&w. Have had no problems. My wife has started keeping it on her bedside table. She prefers it to the 45 acp. She also takes it when she goes out for her morning walks out in the woods. She likes the fact that it does not have the kick of the 45.

Terrific gun for the casual shooter or someone looking for good, basic protection. If you're the type that goes to the range every week and runs a box or two of ammo through it then I'd suggest one of its big brothers instead. Unlike the 220, 226, etc., the 2022 just isn't designed to stand up to the rigors of shooting 10k, 15k, 20k+ rounds through it (Think that's a lot?? Just 100 rounds twice a month and you'll approach those #s in less than 4 years). If you're just going to run a box through it every once in a while then I strongly reccommend it.

Exactly, determine how often and how many rounds you wish to shoot. Many people after 200 break-in rounds only shoot 50 rounds every other month. In that case you would be good to go.
