Sig 516 vs SIG MCX, thoughts, pros cons?

I am going to get a piston vice DI rifle. Besides that I have narrowed what I want to these two rifles. Has anyone had any experience with either, even though MCX is new.. Looking at Pros and Cons.. No need to ping on cost etc, DI vs Piston..
Just looking at what the pros and cons of both, which one is a overall better rifle for long term, etc.
This will be a SHTF, potential varmint gun and HD..

You probably get better responses from a Sig-specific forum. I don't have any of these rifles, but what I do know is that the 516 is more compatible with AR components, i.e., better to accessorize and maintain/repair. The MCX is lighter. Both have proprietary bolts and bolt carriers, I believe. For long-term reliability, you may want to purchase a spare BCG with the rifle. Just in case.

I am part of a sig forum, but, sometimes you get biased opinions, too biased. Looking for people outside the box. Kinda like Colt guys, their stuff is the best of the best of the best and everyone else is bad with no mil spec blah blah...
