Spare, unloaded magizines will be stored in Mil-spec ammo cans for all calibers. One can per weapon/magizine design.

-Each rifle will have one chest/vest tactical rig each. Capable of using a drop-down thigh pistol holster.

-Each BoB will contain 5 loaded rifle(SU-16) magizines each.
-Each BoB will contain 2 loaded speedloaders(.38 Special) each.
-Each BoB will contain 100 spare rounds of each(5.56x45/.38 Special) caliber in boxes/bags. (.38 Special on cartridge belts)

-Each vehicle will contain 1 50rd 12ga(00 Buck) bandolier.
-Each vehicle will contain 2 speedloaders(.38 Special) each.
-Each vehicle will contain 50 spare 12ga rounds(00 Buck, #4 Buck, Slugs), and 100 spare rounds of .38 Special(on cartridge belt).

I think I got most of the provisions...

Feedback/suggestions?

I hope you are not planning on "bugging out" I guess in a VERY LONG shtf or wrol you would need that much, but my feeling is, it would most likely be a relatively short event. I don't know if you need 2-5 of ALL of that, I mean it can't hurt if you have the cash to support that, but I think 1-2 pistols (quality pistols) and one rifle and one shotgun would fill the bill nicely. I like to stick with one or two calibers at the most that way bulking up on ammo isn't such an issue and it's also easier to get on the go, I have a 9mm and soon a .45.

It's a personal choice, but one can go over board. If you have to fend off a few people trying to hurt you or get your supplies that is one thing, but if you have to go to "war", unless you have friends to man the other firearms, it won't matter if you have 15 weapons or two, you can't shoot them all at once.

Bugging out with all that gear is going to be a major undertaking....Now if you are bugging in...

The 92F/FS otherwise known as the M-9 Is JUNK!!!! I carried one in the USAF. I would rather have a SIG226 or USP 9MM if I had to carry a nine.

Consider a few handguns in 40 S&W. Every Cop and his brother has one and that is a good source of what works.

Thanx for the feedback.

Bugging out is the absolute last resort, and if I have to, I'll take an AK-47, 1911, and 12ga. My wife would do the same except with a 9mm. We would burry the rest of our armament, we have the plans and capability to do so.

Having this amount of armament serves several purposes.
1. Spare parts! Fireams break.
2. Provisions for trusted friends and family members.
3. I really like guns and would own this many anyway, hehe.
4. They also could serve as barter... guns/ammo are a poor mans gold.

As it is, it will take a little while for me to obtain that many firearms... so it may/may not happen.

I've heard people get bad M9s, and in my own experiance I've seen some have issues. But, being as that you used one in the USAF, it was probably older than me(at least that's what I've found while serving). The M9s used in the USAF have had tens of thousands of rounds fired through them by hundreds of people. With that kind of usage, failures are going to happen.

I love my M9, never had a malfunction with it! And spare parts and magizines are very abundent, thanks to it being used by our military.

Many people forget that the Berretta M9 beat the Sig P226 in trails in the 80's, aside from the usual political nonsense, it did so b/c it's the better "combat" pistol. As seen by the powers that be, I guess. Another reason I am choosing the M9 is it's all metal, no polymer. That increases service life, with proper maintenance of course.

I have pondered the idea of getting a .40, but haven't brought myself to it yet. It has cuaght on with police departmants and such, so ammo would be available almost everywhere.

Thanx for the input, I shall do some more thinking.

I've been thinking about the gun/ammo barter idea. You give me five gallons of gas for a box of ammo-great. They now load up their gun and take the five gallons of gas back from me-screwed.

Well, hopefully you're armed, and very proficient with your weapon(s)... so he doesn't get the upper hand on you. I'd advise you only barter firearms with people whom you have had previous relations with, and perhaps somewhat trust to not shoot you in the back.
