I use Estate 12 Gauge, 2 3/4 Inches, 9 Pellets, 00 Buckshot, Plastic shotgun shells for home defense.

I do have Game Load,but if you're not a Rabbit,Quail,or Turkey, your fate won't meet a 12 gauge 2 3/4 inc. 1oz.shot 6 shot.for my home denfense.

My choice:

Any round that meets the FBI penetration standard will go through 6-8 drywalls, i.e., 3-4 interior walls, and will be stopped by an exterior wall. Birdshot does not meet the FBI penetration standard, therefore it will go through at most 1 interior wall and has less incapacitation capability than buckshot.

It's your life and your choice to defend it. I don't plan to randomly shoot around my home, so I chose #4 buckshot.

If you do not trust yourself with buckshot in the home, then you shouldn't trust yourself with any handgun round for home defense. All handgun rounds will go through 6-8 drywalls or more.

I hate the term "home defense," just like any true warrior does. If your home is threatened then you better be into "home offense" and take the fight to them and annilihate them.
