239 YEARS AGO on April 19th minus one.
April 18, 1775
British General Thomas Gage orders Major John Pitcairn to Concord.
Objective: Disarm a group of colonists and Seize all powder, shot and arms

When 700 British Soldiers arrive on April 19th, they were fired upon by the Militia, and the Revolutionary War had begun.


New York gun owners are gathering again on April 19th to fire shots to voice protest for recent gun control laws known as NY SAFE Act.

This time New York gun owners are asking all states to do the same thing and show solidarity to all of our politicians that they are pushing the envelope and had better start respecting the Constitution of the United States of America.
IF you belong to other forums or Facebook groups or whatever, please start spreading the word.

Show solidarity with NY and join in on a “SHOT HEARD ROUND THE U.S.” on April 19th 2014.

Gather up your militia at your gun clubs and fire a shot at NOON in your time zone. Fire a shot to show your disgust at the few who insist on trashing the Constitution.
Please make sure that all shots are done legally and safely.
New York gun owners did this a few weeks ago and it was quite successful.
It was also a little bit fun.

We in NY did this back in January and we got a lot of media coverage. It was all good. Plus, what makes you think they are ever going to anything more than look at you as a knuckle dragging neanderthal who is not worthy of a second look from an overeducated pompous metro sexual progressive like them.

It's not like I expect them to ever like me. I couldn't care less about that.
I guess it all depends on the jurisdiction where this is done. Some places would try to put you under the jail if they caught you.
Other places wouldn't even notice a little extra gunfire.
If I did it, probably only about 5 people would even hear it. (At least with anything short of a 155 Howitzer.)

Thanks, I didn't come up with the idea just trying to promote it so it takes off. If it was my idea it would be a "Mad Minute". Again the key is Safely and Legally. Not looking to hear anything in downtown big city USA. In those area's when you hear gun fire you duck first.
We did this on the Saturday before the new gun regulations went into affect. Thousands of guys gathered at outdoor ranges and shooting clubs and let the lead fly at precisely Noon.
I can shoot in my back yard so I did. So did 90% of my neighbors and the echos off the hills sounded like a fire fight. It was awesome and some clubs made a day of it and had a good time. The whole idea was to garner media attention and we did from the local stations. I mean those guys on MSNBC would poop themselves if they heard it going off around them.
We also had many pro gun politicians participating.

I think it's a great cause and I'll definitely be doing it down here in Georgia. There is a difference between proactively fighting to keep the riff-raff on their toes and sitting on your haunches just waiting for a war to start. Yes, the one shot is largely symbolic, but who cares? The point will get across. Count me in, brother.
