Shooting with Bi-foculs

Front Sight

Focus 110% on the front sight, the target will be blurry. If you have good trigger control the hits will be petfect.

My complaint is wearing protective shooting goggles over my glasses. It's uncomfortable & a pain. Especially in the summer. sweat dripping on the lens, etc.
I had my optometrist make me a pair of bi-focal, yellow shooting glasses. Shatter-proof lenses and a wide lower part of the lens works great. I find that I rarely use the bottom for actual shooting, as the tops give me a good view of the front sight and the target.

I shoot at ranges all over the country and have never been required to put safety goggles over my glasses. A word of caution however...wear a ball cap to prevent hot shell casings from dropping between the lens and your eyelid. It happened to me with a .45 ACP.
