Shooting gloves - any suggestions?

As much as I love shooting my pistols (a S&W Model 65 .357 and a SCCY CPX-2), my hands are not very tough or strong so I have persistent recoil soreness in the thumb saddle/webbing area of my hand. I have found plenty of shooting gloves with padding in the palms, but can anyone recommend gloves that specifically target the thumb saddle area of the hand? I am considering this pair - Link Removed - but they are currently backordered. I would love to hear from those who have personal experience with the same problem! Also, I am left-handed, so they need to either be specifically for a lefty or have padding in both gloves...

I had to get a glove for my revolver and found a nice one at Walmart over by the motorcyle items. It is Black, thin, open fingers and has padding around the web between the thumb and forefinger. It was about $15

PAST makes some very good ones (along with recoil shields specifically designed for women shooters if long gun recoil is an issue as well). Uncle Mike used to make them as well but I haven't seen any of those in years and i don't know if they are still in production.

Walmart is one of the few big box stores we have up here, I will have to go take a look! I've thought about going to Lowe's as well, I hear they have anti-vibration gloves with padding in the thumb-web area...
