Shirt untucking with hybrid holster

Hey all,
I've been working with an Old Faithful holster and so far have found it to be the most comfortable of the ones I've tried. The absolute most comfortable position for carry so far is the 3:30-4:00 position, but I find that my grip tends to untuck my shirt with normal movement. I haven't had that problem with a 2:30-3:00 carry, but it's less comfortable and prints more. Anyone have a similar problem or, more importantly, a solution to the problem? The only solution I've come up with so far is to untuck my shirt, but I'm too close to 40 to be walking around with untucked shirts.

Thanks!

Hey now. I am in my mid forties and have no problem with my shirt being untucked. At least in appropriate situations. That being said I am considering trying pocket carry or an ankle holster.

I too use an Old Faithful holster. I carry it at 330-400 without any issues. My suggestion would be to wear a shirt just a bit bigger than normal. No printing. No unnecessary untucking.

50 here with a growing waistline to go with it. I also use an Old Faithful with an M&P 40 FS.
I wear a tshirt tucked in with a button up shirt untucked (and unbuttoned) over that.
I do notice though that my tshirt does tend to ride up a bit.

Bunch of Old Faithful users... +1 here for an Old Faithful with my XDm .45 ACP 3.8 Compact. Very comfortable at the 3:30-4:00 position. Been wearing it mostly untucked, and haven't actually tried anything tucked yet. Appreciate the experiences and suggestions, though.

I'm 63 and won't wear a shirt that has to be tucked in. I don't dress up anymore. I don't go to funerals and anywhere else I go I don't care. Old Faithful, love it more and more every day!! Don't even realize it's there most of the time. I carry a Ruger SR9c.

I agree! I'm 61 now and my days of trying to impress people is over! I am, who I am. Not how I dress. Being able to get to my sidearm and being comfortable is what is primary these days.

64 next month, Old Faithful holster, Glock 30 .45, untucked, undetected.
Really, nobody notices...
People are oblivious!
The only problem I have is the holster is so comfortable, I sometimes forget I'm wearing it.:)
I grew up in So-Cal, T shirt and jeans.
Dress-up was putting on socks...
If I have to really dress up, I have a .38 snubby in a Mika pocket holster, super comfortable and invisible.

I've settled on the 3:00 to 3:30 position for now. I do find that the shirt still wants to untuck, so I'll be upgrading to some shirts with longer, boxy, backs (as someone put it). So far, it's still cold enough in Oregon that pull over fleeces are still the order of the day, so I can pretty much hide a full size 1911 right now.

Thanks for all of the input!
