Shield vs P938 which is better?

Just got a Shield in 9mm . curious if anyone in this forum has compared the shield with the P938.

The difference between two is big. Ones single action, the other striker fired. i think a better comparison would be between two pistols with the same action..

Yeah too different to compare, I think. Love my Shield, and have heard a bunch of good things about the P938. I'd have considered one myself if I wasn't sticking with DA-types for now.

I have owned both. I was unhappy with the accuracy and felt recoil of the Shield in my hands. The "in my hands" is important because you and someone else may swear by the Shield but it was not the gun for me. I own a P938 now and love it. It is accurate and has little felt recoil, again in my hands. Your mileage may vary. The difference in accuracy may be nothing fancier than I am more used to and prefer the trigger on a single action pistol versus a double action. I'm too old to start over.

I own both as well. Purchased my P938 1st, then had the Shield come highly recommend by two local respected weapon dealers.
While the S&W is a fine weapon for the price, I vote hands down for my Sig.
Feel & fit in my hand; not to mention size for concealed carry.
When I mix it up, I prefer my Springfield SDX .45ACP to carry. It's size is equivocal to the Shield & a far superior weapon.

I own both of these weapons. I love them both, in fact I have two Shields. I actually prefer the SIG P938. With the extended magazine, especially, it fits very well in my hand. Additionally, it's recoil is very reasonable and it is very accurate. Of course, it is a SIG so well made and cost a lot more. As someone lose pointed out the SIG is single action with a crisp trigger.

Aside from the different triggers, the other big difference between the two is the frame. The Shield has a polymer frame while the Sig has a metal frame. That can make a big difference in the amount of felt recoil. The Shield may be a little lighter to carry, but the Sig will be easier on the hands with less felt recoil.
