It don't matter what religion (if any) they to cloak themselves with. That's window dressing meant to confuse the issue, to form a constitutional shield (however flimsy) to hide behind, and to mislead the easily led. Jim Jones was supposedly a Christian, too, so look how that turned out.
I don't care if they call themselves Christian, Shiite, Sunni or Animists. If they are the dangerous nut jobs they appear to be, then the cops did all of us a favor taking them off the streets. If these folks were making bombs and planning to blow them up, they were a danger to the public and needed to be stopped. If they had carried out what they are accused of plotting, a LOT of folks would be screaming that the government isn't doing enough. Do you really think blowing up IED's at a funeral is a good thing? Do you think that the bombs were only gonna kill who they wanted to attack? What about the dead LEO's family? Well wishers? The old lady visiting her husband's grave 20 yards away? Get real folks. Explosives are equal opportunity. If you are within the blast range, you are toast.
These folks were arrested under a sealed federal warrant. I ain't one to put a whole lot of trust in the Federal government but I know that Federal judges don't hand sealed warrants out like party favors.
Let's see the evidence before we start hollering about jackboots and black helicopters.
