Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on what's the best affordable auto loader shot gun? I don't want to buy cheap, but I don't want to spend a fortune either. Also I want the largest shell capacity. Thanks in advance.

Don't know the specifics of your price range, but consider the Saiga 12. It can be adjusted to cycle various types of ammunition and is an extremely rugged platform. Give it a look.

Saiga 12 is what I have, comes with a 5 round magazine, you can buy an 8 round mag 12 round mag and a 20 round drum mag.

I have a Reminton 1100 (actually it's a Sportsman 12 Auto. It's the same exact gun except that it isn't finished as nicely. It still takes all the same accesories). I put a mag extension and a pistol grip stock on it. Using the sling I can shoot it one handed.

You can also buy 10 and 12 rd. banana mags, and 30 rd. drums for your Saiga. But the 30's are over priced, and you can buy more total rounds for the same money by sticking with multiple 20's.

I would go with either the mossberg 930 SPX or an FN SLP, however, they ain't that cheap either! but they are a bit cheaper than a Bennelli M4!!

The Saiga while a good start needs allot of work to make it run WELL and RELIABLY. You can buy a off the shelf Beretta for 1200 or so that will run like a top and never fail out of the box mag extensions are readily available. There are plenty of choices out there. Knowing what your intended use was would help allot with a recommendation. As with any firearm people suggestions are a starting point. IF you dont like it or it does not fit you then any opinion you get will be moot in the end.

Mossberg has recently released a shotgun in AR style. My friend has one and loves it. I have not shot it yet so i'll hold judgement.
