Seeking hi-riding paddle for XDMc 45

I've been using Crossbreed holsters for a few years and am mostly happy with them However, I am in the market for an OWB paddle holster that has the pistol riding fairly high in relation to the waistband. An example of the ride would be the Desantis Top Cop.

I am open to leather or kydex, cosmetics unimportant.

There are so many to choose from. Please share your experience.

The Fobus paddle rides pretty high, good retention too!

I have a Mernickle high ride belt holster that works really well for my 5" 1911. It is the HS6 rig. I think it was about $85. Fit is outstanding.

I am using the Fobus paddle and it rides high on me. Not to mention Fobus won't break the bank. Got it for $28 on Amazon!

I use the Blackhawk Serpa and I really like the ride on my hip. From the picture you posted the Blackhawk is a little lower but well worth a look. They are packaged so that you can look at them and take them out of the package to see if they are really what you want. The have a tab hook on the paddle that is designed for retention inside the pants, I modified this to allow for easier removal still allowing great retention.

I am very pleased with my holster from TT Gun Leather. They have many models available, but Link Removed. If you are in a hurry, don't bother to order from them as each one is made to order, but if quality is what your primary criteria it is an excellent choice.
