Securing handguns and rifles in vehicles

We all know that leaving a handgun or rifle unsecured in a vehicle is not a good idea. All a thief needs is an old screwdriver and about 30 seconds to ruin your day. I believe in having "Serious Theft Protection" for any firearms I have to leave in my vehicles.

Anyway, plan A is stupid and potentially criminal.

There are many solutions for plan B, including the Link Removed attached to the car with a steel cable, a Link Removed attached to the car with a steel cable or chain, and others:
